JD Lawrence you are the truth no question. You came with your own style and it was different from Tyler, dog I never laughed so hard I even brought my mom and my sister back to see the show. It was still just as stupid the way you went from character to character was out of this world. I have never seen that ever in theater it was like on some eddie murphy tip. Seriously you are putting all them theater director cats like David, Donald and im ready to shame thats real talk all day fam gets yours baby. I'm a fan.

Lawrence I love the fact that you did not use any guns in your production and it was still side splitting hilarious. I would say your like Bill Cosby and Tyler is more likke Richard Pryor both gentlemen a very good at what they do just you both are. May the Lord our God continue to bless you both. Your book Behind the cross was a blessing I'd like to order it for my book store who do I need to contact?

My husband and I attended a JD Lawrence performance in Atlanta at the Civic center . We were quite impressed to say the least it was outstanding. Tyler and JD have two total different styles. JD plays more characters I think seven of them and sings, he's also just as funny. We heard people in the audience comparing the two all night. One thing I do know Mr. Lawrence writing is far better it had substance. I saw a show called "What Ever She Want" and it was garbage the set was ok but the writing and the acting was not good at all. It was not a Tyler show just for the record. I look forward to seeing a movie by JD I purchased his book behind the cross and it was just as good as the performance. It's nice to see brothers like Tyler and JD doing big things. I'd like to see Mr.Clarence or Mary and Madea on the stage at the same time that would be off the meter. Good luck on both of your journeys to success your both very blessed.
